Man it looks like that oil pan is going to be history if it wheelies and comes down hard. That is why I like wheelie bars to keep it from happening or at least trying to keep it from happening and ruining the track for everyone behind you.

Hey Cleetus, My comment is a little late, but as I watched Kevin talk about the trans cooler, I wanted to suggest that you take extra measures to protect the bottom of the oil pan in the event you pull a wheelie. As I suggested before on another video, have Kevin make a slam proof cage around the oil pan so you don't have to weld up the oil pan at the strip. I suggest you design a full protective cage around the oil pan that can be removed and installed quickly should you need to do any work on the bottom of the car.

Cleetus and Kevin are a great combination in videos: Kevin with his attention to detail and creativity, and cleetus keeping it fun, light, and always moving on. What a great balance.

You should get a cap to put on the bed of it so when you go on race week and stuff, you can put that on and you can stack some things in the bed so it is able to hold more and less likely need a trailer

Maybe stupid question: Wouldn't it be easier to use a safety net from a GT3 car, they dont need the rod on top, they just klick in at the A pillar.

If the car is just a little tall for the stacker you can collapse the suspension with simple ratchet straps during transport and then remove them once the car is on the ground at the race track. This is a simple thing we do when cars are to tall for our race car trailer.

I have essentially zero experience with anything race car related. I just love following Cleetus's story, he seems genuine and it's all good fun seems like a legit good group of dudes. The 2 step is just one of the things I genuinely don't understand because I've never seen it in person, hopefully someday I can make it down to an event and see it all in person! Hell yeah brother!!

you need to put a sump protector on it as you skytune everything

six point belts, aka balls/weenie savers LOL. whom in the world would have ever cranked that belt down tight (likely not even a female!) certainly more comfortable for all humanity!

If you have air tanks on board.. why not put air jacks under the chassis. No need for jack or stands???

I have to say, all that computer magic controlled stuff is great, until it isn't :)) one little firmware/coding bug/electrical or computer glitch and hang on for a good time, because anything and everything could happen in a chain failure instantly.

KSR seems like a smart and inventive fella that jumps and works around hurdles quickly, seemingly backed by his team. don't lose that team of help by all means!
