Sold my C7 at a profit to buy my C8. Sold my C8 at a profit as well. I'll wait for the market to balance out before buying another one. Also the cabin comfort is compromised by the heating of the engine. It can't be just me that had that issue.

The Real list price is $60,000 loaded on a new C-8 Stingray. Right now Sellers and dealerships are price gouging and anybody that pays $40,000 more for a car that’s only $60,000 worth is a dumbass. The reason why they’re going for that is because of the coronavirus. GM put a halt on mass production of these cars. Very soon these cars price will drop back down to $55,000. You can still get a new 2019 Stingray for $50,000.

Not for the same reasons just in the UK, we're subject to EU laws so the modern coopers have an eco tune, GPF, Monsterous cat etc etc. So I'm going to buy one 3 years older so I don't have to deal with the addition 2500 in road tax, the additional 2000 in annual servicing etc etc.

Whoever paid over $100,000 for that car - in 18 months are going to deeply regret it. The prices of used Ferraris and used Lotus - aka "the secondary market" - shows a steep drop in price too, and those are LIMITED PRODUCTION sports cars. Chevy is running their factory at full-tilt boogie and in a few months there will be so many 2020 corvettes on the road, I feel sorry for the sucker who bought that car for that much.
